STEAMScene: Little:Bits Birthday Challenge (Grades 1-2)

Register Here What's the best way to celebrate a birthday? By inventing something amazing. In this hands-on STEAMScene workshop, first and second graders will use Little:Bits — snap-together, magnetic, color-coded electronic building blocks — to create their very own celebration invention inspired by birthday parties. No prior experience with electronics needed. Little:Bits makes circuitry approachable and endlessly creative, so every child leaves with something they built themselves. Space is limited to 12 participants. Registration is required, and a caregiver must remain in the Library during the program. Children's Library Refund Policy This is a free program for those who attend. Because of the limited number of students, you will be charged $25 upon registration. Your deposit will be refunded less credit card processing fees upon attendance or notification of inability to attend sent to mpastel@westportlibrary.org a week before the program starts AND if we can fill your spot. Registration is NOT transferable. A caregiver is to remain at the Library during the class. Register Here Questions? Contact Margaret Pastel at mpastel@westportlibrary.org.
