About this event
Witness birds and connect with other nature enthusiasts while casually searching for birds from one location, utilizing tools such as binoculars, monoculars, and spotting scopes. Chairs will be available, as well as activity tables to enhance bird knowledge, explore bird books and tools, and discover additional birding programs in central Indiana. Drop by any time to connect with birds and birders! This program is part of Birdability Week, an annual celebration dedicated to birders with disabilities and/or other health concerns. It serves as an opportunity to share resources and ideas, fostering an accessible, inclusive, and welcoming birding community. This event is presented in collaboration with Indiana Audubon, whose mission is to engage communities in the enjoyment of birds in their habitats through conservation, education, and research. Audience: This event is designed to be accessible. We welcome participants with disabilities, caretakers, families, and anyone who enjoys an inclusive nature event. Beginner birds are always welcome!
