Friday, November 20, 2026 This talk features images made by members of the club and delves into the fun and challenges of taking high-quality images of planets, star clusters and galaxies. Featuring images of planets, the Moon, galaxies, nebulas and other objects, it’s always one of our most popular talks. Star parties at White Memorial are organized by the Litchfield Hills Amateur Astronomy Club. The talk will be given whether it’s clear or cloudy. Then, weather permitting, there will be star gazing at the observatory. You are welcome to bring a telescope or binoculars. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 7:00 P.M., A.B. Ceder Room. FREE… Donations will be accepted to help defray the Conservation Center’s programming expenses.
