
St. Anthony of Padua
Personal veneration is available in the Chapel during the hour before the 11:30 a.m. Mass, offering quiet time for prayer and reflection. St. Anthony of Padua’s feast day is on June 13. In honor of his life and witness, the National Shrine will bring his relic from the Apparition Oratory to the Apparition Chapel for veneration that day. All are welcome to attend and pray with this great Saint on his Feast Day! St. Anthony of Padua was a Franciscan priest and renowned preacher known for his deep knowledge of Scripture and powerful witness to the Gospel. Widely loved for his compassion and miracles, he is especially invoked as the patron saint of lost items and those in need.
