Spring Sunday Fundays – Warming Up with New Adventures

Celebrate the arrival of spring with Spring Sunday Fundays at the Whittingham Discovery Center in Mill River Park. As the park comes alive with blooming flowers, budding trees, and warmer days, families are invited to gather for mornings filled with stories, creativity, and exploration. From March 15 through May 10 (excluding Easter Sunday), join us every Sunday at 10 AM for engaging story time followed by hands-on activities inspired by the wonders of spring. Each week features a new book and creative project designed to spark curiosity about nature, imagination, and the changing season. This week, families can enjoy a special reading of My Food, Your Food, Our Food by Emma Carlson. This playful story explores how everyone enjoys different foods, from favorite snacks to tasty meals, and how sharing makes mealtime even more fun. Follow along as the characters try new flavors, trade treats, and celebrate meals together. After the story, families can join a hands-on activity that sparks creativity.
