Spring Forest Healing at Pine Camp Community Center in Richmond, VA on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
It's time to greet spring with a mindful tree hug! Come join us for reflections on growth and renewal. The City of Richmond's Pine Camp Cultural Arts Center is hosting a morning of forest therapy and a sound bath. The retreat includes mindful nature and art activities, chi-kung, The Way of Tea, and a tranquil Sound Bath. A certified guide will lead you through the Pine Camp Forest. Sound Bath will be provided by Elena Alexis, a multi-modal healing arts practitioner. A celebration of pine tea will be included in our mindful outdoor experience. Unless there is severe weather, we go rain or shine. Of course, we do adjust, especially if it's raining hard. We go inside for certain activities and then back outside after the storm has passed. NEW for 2026: There is a fee of twenty dollars for non City of Richmond residents. You can call 804-646-3677 to pay ahead of time or you can pay at the event. If you live in the City of Richmond, it's FREE. Event is limited to 45 people. Open to anyone age 16 and above. For more information please call: 804-646-3680 or email pinecampculturalartscenter@gmail.com
