We warmly invite you to participate in Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (S.E.E.L.), an eight-month retreat rooted in the timeless wisdom of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Designed for those seeking to listen more closely to the movement of the Sacred within, S.E.E.L. offers a gentle, transformative structure for prayer, meditation, and reflection—right in the rhythm of your own daily life. Through guided prayer practices, monthly gatherings, and one-on-one spiritual direction, participants: Cultivate deeper awareness of the Divine in all things Explore new images and language for the Source of All Being, Learn to discern how Spirit moves within and around them Integrate contemplation and compassionate action into daily living If you feel called to enrich your spiritual practice, reflect on your “heart’s desire,” and nurture a spirituality that transforms, S.E.E.L. may be your next step. The journey begins this October. We invite you to commit to: Daily prayer/meditation (approx. 1 hour) Monthly spiritual direction Eight monthly Saturday sessions (October – May) Come as you are—with openness, curiosity, and a willing heart. Let this be a sacred invitation to listen deeply and live more fully. Schedule: Opening Retreat Day on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; monthly meetings on Fridays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on November 6 and December 11, 2026, and January 8, February 5, March 5, and April 2, 2027; Closing Retreat Day on Friday, May 7, 2027 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Fee: $450, payable to Prairiewoods in October, 2026, or on a monthly basis ($50/month) if necessary, plus your cost of monthly direction.
