Spiral on Spiral Ring

NEW CLASS! This is an afternoon session starting at 12pm. Adriane Laws will be teaching. Class includes materials and instruction support for two rings. Nomad has educated countless students in the creation of wire-wrap projects, but rarely rings. This is a different kind of challenge requiring both freeform and precision wirework. Students will create two rings. First, the freeform: coax colorful plated copper wire into a swirling nest and anchor it to a simple finger band. Second, the spiral-on-spiral: This more regimented style builds on the lessons learned in the first ring, tightly coiling wire over wire and then shaping an elegant textured disk. Our photo depicts three freeform rings stacked together and a single spiral-on-spiral coiled ring.
