Special Saturday Storytime: Kitty-Cats, Stories, and Crafts!

Storytime Room. Do you like Cats? Do you like Kittens? Do you like stories about Cats? Do you like to make Kitten crafts? Then come to this Special Saturday Storytime where we will be doing all of this! At Storytime & Craft, we promote early childhood literacy through reading aloud as well as developing fine motor skills with simple crafts to prepare children to be able to succeed in daily tasks related to both school and life. These crafts are related to the picture book being read aloud and may include activities to help with developing scissors skills, holding a writing utensil correctly, hand and finger strengthening using tongs/scissors/bottle of glue/glue sticks, tracing images or items on paper, and strengthen hand eye coordination. This month, we will be reading some books about cats and making some kitty-cat-crafts! This event is geared to children ages 3-7, with the help of their adult caregiver, and we appreciate you adhering to this age guideline. Registration preferred (but not required) for supply preparation purposes! Henrietta Public Library is committed to creating inclusive and accessible events.
