Speaker Series: A Tree I Wish I Had Met by Don Cippollini

Don Cipollini is a Professor of Biological Sciences at Wright State University and host of “The Naturalist” on Yellow Springs community access channel 5 and on YouTube.” |In this talk, Don will first discuss an appreciation for large, old and otherwise venerable trees using several local and far-away examples. He will then tell the story of the Logan Elm, a tree of monumental proportions that was a central feature in the saga of Native American relations with European colonists in the eastern U.S.
