She holds a Master of Science in Education from The University of Kansas and has over 25 years of meditation experience, including multiple multiday silent retreats. She’s also passionate about reducing stigma around mental health challenges and has trained over 300 people (and counting!) in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). When not teaching, she enjoys making stuff, playing outside and talking to strangers.
