What better way to find your voice, than at this fun and instructive hybrid evening. (You **always** have the option to participate via Zoom.) IF YOU'RE NEW TO SPEAK UP, See note below. Tackle one of your biggest personal challenges and social anxieties - There simply is no better place to do it. We'll not only show you how to speak effectively to a live audience; we'll help you improve your online presence, too. First-time (and returning) guests enjoy our simple exercises and learn useful techniques for connecting with others. Our meetups are fast-paced and engaging - Difficult enough to be challenging, but fun enough not to be intimidating. Experience it for yourself: You'll get to listen to prepared speeches and learn simple yet effective speaking tips. We are a chapter of TOASTMASTERS International. We follow the time-tested Toastmasters curriculum, and throw in a few significant variations of our own. You are invited (not required) to participate in our two-minute impromptu speaking exercises. Plus a 30-second Round Robin, where you'll introduce yourself (talk very briefly about an interest, or what brought you there). Pretty basic. We have one requirement: enjoy yourself and get a sense of how the meetups run. They start promptly at 6:50, so please show up before 6:45. They end at 8:45 pm. Who will you meet?
