SPARK! programs are designed for people in the early-to-mid stages of memory loss to visit with their family and care partners. This monthly program engages participants in lively conversations, storytelling, object handling, and other multi-sensory activities that relate. Space is limited so reservations are appreciated. Let’s celebrate by touring the new gallery followed by ice cream on the Civil War Museum Terrace. Leaf Prints | Friday, October 16 Our group will celebrate the coming of fall by collecting leaves and making decorative leaf prints. Dinosaur Fossils | Friday, November 20 At this meeting, Dinosaur Discovery Museum Educator Nick Wiersum will have the group handle and clean a collection of fossils to answer the age-old question, “What is a Dinosaur”? Victorian Ornaments | Friday, December 18 Members will create Holiday ornaments based on the traditions of 19th century America.
