South Side Farmers Market | South Scranton in Scranton Saturdays | 10 a.m.–1 p.m. The South Side Farmers Market takes place in South Scranton, PA every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year-round market features fresh produce, meats, baked goods and other locally sourced products from regional farmers and vendors. From mid-May through mid-October, the market is held outdoors at Alder Street and Cedar Avenue in Scranton. During the colder months, it moves indoors to the CEDAR Center at 526 Cedar Avenue, allowing shoppers to enjoy fresh local foods throughout the year. The market accepts SNAP/EBT, and shoppers can also take advantage of the Food Bucks program to stretch their grocery dollars while supporting local agriculture.
