Soundbite Studio

DIY Space. Ever wanted to record a podcast or preserve a story, but don’t know where to start? Join us in the DIY Space for a crash course on recording in our Soundbite Studio! This hands-on, beginner-friendly session will introduce you to the basics of audio recording and help you get comfortable with the studio setup. Sign up for a 30-minute individual session: bring a couple of friends or come solo. You’ll have a chance to experiment, ask questions, and create your own recording using provided laptops (or bring your own with Audacity or other recording software installed). Walk away with new skills, inspiration, and maybe even your first podcast episode! Please email or call to RSVP and inquire about the program details, or if you need special accommodations. Emails will be sent out prior to the program with extra information. To ensure access to the widest audience of interested community members, the Library is restricting overlapping program registrations. Any individual registering themselves for multiple programs in a similar timeframe will be removed from all registrations. Please only register for the program you are most interested in attending.
