Souled American

Mysterious, magnificent Souled American started in Chicago, blending roots with rock to pioneer a style later called 'alternative country.' They recorded six legendary albums between 1988 and 1996 and then effectively vanished. Originally a quartet, the founding singer/songwriters Joe Adducci and Chris Grigoroff remain. The band is now issuing their first new record in decades, Sanctions, and first tour in 35 years.
