About this event
Join us for an evening celebrating the intersection of art and science with internationally acclaimed artist Eric Dyer, widely recognized as the Modern Master of the Zoetrope. Doors open at 5pm and at 5:30pm, Dyer will present a lecture exploring the artistic process behind his mesmerizing kinetic sculptures, the scientific principles that bring them to life, and how mathematics, engineering, and motion influence his work. The evening concludes with an audience Q&A, giving guests the chance to engage directly with the artist and a reception featuring light refreshments and the opportunity to explore Spin! The Art of the Modern Zoetrope in the museum’s smART Space galleries. This project was funded in part by the Oklahoma Arts Council, which receives support from the State of Oklahoma and the National Endowment for the Arts. Register today!
