SlowPoke Hike: Mt. Wanda!

SlowPoke Hike: Mt. Wanda at John Muir National Historic Site! For our next adventure, we’re heading to Mt. Wanda at John Muir National Historic Site! Distance: 2-3 miles depending on which trail we choose (\~ +2hrs) Elevation gain: \~600ft Scenery: Amazing views! Dogs: allowed, but must be on a leash less than 6ft Bring water! No bathrooms or drinking fountains. Free parking in a small lot at the trailhead, or street parking along Franklin Canyon Rd As always, this is a SlowPoke hike. We’re not racing anywhere. We’ll stop, look around, take pictures, investigate interesting plants and birds, and generally wander our way through the hike.
