About this event
Young Charlie Bucket can hardly contain his excitement when he finds a coveted Golden Ticket to tour the mysterious Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. Inside, he and the other winners step into a world of pure imagination, where every sweet surprise is bigger than they dreamed, including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and a great glass elevator. As they compete for Wonka's grand prize, each child receives a fate that is strange, delightful, and exactly what they deserve. Based on Roald Dahl's semi-sweet classic tale, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a whimsical full length musical adventure filled with wonder, laughter, and treats beyond imagination. Study guides for all of the Smart Stage Matinees will be available for download prior to each production (link to DOWNLOAD THE STUDY GUIDE). Recommended for Grades 2-12. Part of the Nicklaus Children's Health System Smart Stage Matinee Series.
