Students in grades 3-5 are invited to learn Nordic handcraft techniques at Slöjd Studio. This month’s focus is tin embossing. Slöjd Studio is a monthly program for older elementary students. Participants explore new tools, techniques, and materials that prepare them for a lifelong love of handcraft. Learn the basic techniques of tin embossing from instructor Anna Ruhland and make a garland of handmade hearts. Students can also add felted elements to their project. Perfect for Valentine’s Day! Additional information: This is a drop-off program. Adults may not accompany children during this program. Suitable for students currently in grades 3-5. Advanced registration required.
