About this event
Students in grades 3-5 are invited to learn Nordic handcraft techniques at Slöjd Studio. This month’s focus is embriodery. Slöjd Studio is a monthly program for older elementary students. Participants explore new tools, techniques, and materials that prepare them for a lifelong love of handcraft. Stitch and sew using one of Sweden’s most iconic symbols as inspiration! Join Anna Ruhland to learn a variety of embroidery techniques. Students will use these skills to embroider designs inspired by the Dala Horse! Additional information: This is a drop-off program. Adults may not accompany children during this program. Suitable for students currently in grades 3-5. Advanced registration required.
