SLO Rep: Forever Plaid

On their way to the biggest gig of their careers, four hopeful singers’ lives are cut short by a sudden bus crash—only to return from the afterlife for one last shot at the spotlight. Bursting with 1950s classics, sharp suits, and heartfelt hilarity, Forever Plaid is a nostalgic, laugh-filled celebration of second chances. Singing in 4-part harmony and executing their charmingly outlandish choreography with overzealous precision, the “Plaids” are a guaranteed smash, with a program of beloved songs and delightful patter that will keep you rolling in the aisles when you’re not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 1950s. Featuring beloved favorites such as Three Coins in the Fountain, Catch a Falling Star, Sixteen Tons, Day-O and Love Is a Many‑Splendored Thing, Forever Plaid is warm, witty, irresistibly tuneful and a feel-good celebration of friendship, nostalgia, and the timeless power of great music.
