Cordage is one of the most fundamental primitive technologies. It is useful for tying, carrying, lashing, shelter building, fishing, toolmaking, and countless tasks. Yucca makes an especially satisfying "first meetup" because a single leaf can be processed into strong, workable fibers, then reverse-wrapped into a continuous length of cord.
