Community Room. Sourdough Bread Workshop with Fermenters Club You will learn all about sourdough, and how to make a loaf of sourdough bread. We’ll explain fermentation and have a brief discussion about the benefits of making and eating fermenting foods We’ll show you how easy it is to start making naturally-leavened bread yourself at home! We'll talk about how to maintain starter and what to do with leftover starter, aka "discard" We’ll serve samples of sourdough bread to try Copies of Austin's book, Fearless Fermenting, will be available for purchase. Purchase not required. Registration required, as class is capped at 40 participants. Register online: sdcl.org/vista. Registration opens the 1st of every month at 10AM.
