Sold Out Sketching Cities: Rendering the Built - with Daniel Winterbottom - Sun. 09/13/2026 10am-1:30pm $140.00 Sunday, September 13, 2026 10 am-1:30pm Sketching architecture within the urban built environment is a critical skill for urban sketchers. Understanding perspective and (forced perspective), composition, tone and light are some of the skills needed to reflect the drama of a scene and convey the massing and architectural expression of the urban environment. We will sketch a few sites in Edmonds to explore these opportunities and refine our skill sets. We will focus on line and tone, pen or pencil but feel free to bring watercolors and colored pencils as well. Workshop starts at ARTspot at 10am. Daniel will give a short overview before your group heads out to sketch! Workshop outdoor location will be within walking distance of ARTspot. Exact location TBD.
