Athens State University’s Music Industry Studies program is proud to present the 2nd annual Singer-Songwriter Series show, a performance designed to highlight the program’s three academic concentrations: Concert Touring and Live Performance, Audio Engineering and Music Production, as well as Music Business and Artist Management. This free event, coordinated by Dr. Kevin D. Kelleher—head of the Music Industry Studies program—features Kelly Joyner with James Parker and Kevin Lay. Hosted at the Alabama Center for the Arts Studio Theatre in the Arthur Orr Performing Arts Center and sponsored by the Alabama Center for the Arts Foundation, this initiative demonstrates the synergy between academic excellence and community engagement.
