An original new comedy about the extravagant life of Evander Berry Wall - the late 1800s “King of Dudes.” A Man, his two Chow Chows and a desire to be the fanciest dressed man in the 19th Century. When is it enough? Evander Berry Wall; the man who had everything by age 18 and chose to use it to buy 5,000 ties and 500 pairs of pants to become fashion’s “King of Dudes.” Through striking costumes, projections, and clown, this interdisciplinary work examines wealth, social responsibility, and excess, connecting historical opulence to contemporary conversations about status and privilege.
