About this event
Tuesdays, December 1 - 15, 2026 | 5:30 - 8:30P | 3 sessions | $250 Bandanas have been a staple of workwear for centuries, and their patterns and colors can carry meaning far beyond function—from signaling and identification to pure decoration. In partnership with Billings Farm and Museum's new exhibition, Farm Fashion, this class looks at where those designs came from, what they've meant to the people who wore them, and how we can use that history as a starting point for designing and printing a bandana of your own. Over 3 sessions, you'll develop your own rotationally symmetric pattern, learn the printing process, and screenprint a finished bandana to take home. We'll focus on creating designs built for screenprinting—patterns that suit the process and sit well on a square of fabric. No printing experience necessary! Supplies: All materials are included with registration. Teaching Artist: Evan Koppers Register
