Team \-\-\-\- **Where:** Lakeside Street Coffee House **When:** Every Monday, 10:00 AM Join us for an hour of writing! Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, no one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some words on the page. We’ve discovered that it’s helpful to write in the presence of other writers. 1st Timers: We know it can be scary to join a new group. Our group is very welcoming and fun. Check us out to see if this is something that works for you. Look for the "Shut Up & Write Meetup" table tents in the front room facing Lakeside St. Your organizer for this meetup is Linda U. **SCHEDULE:** 10:00 am - Introductions & chat 10:15 am - Timer starts: write for 1 hour 11:15 am - The End 11:15am - Chat, take off, or keep writing OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11:15. Writing is very solitary. Connecting with other writers is informative and fun. **What Should I Bring?** Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons. Please come with your laptop pre-charged -- there are not many plugs available! **Being late is okay!** Just show up and get settled, or find an open spot at a nearby table and join us when the timer goes off.
