About this event

The Shop, Central Library. Learn how to safely cut glass and solder it to make a stained glass piece! In this class we cover: Techniques for cutting glass and operating a glass grinder Safety protocols on how to utilize these resources during Open Shop time How to apply copper foil and use a soldering iron to assemble a small stained glass project Note: Participation in this class is not a prerequisite for using the glass cutting tools available in The Shop. Shop staff can provide guidance on how to utilize these tools during Open Shop time. Depending on time constraints, participants may need to finish soldering their piece during Open Shop hours. All students must complete a Maker Waiver Agreement prior to participating in this class. Ages 18 . REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Space is limited.
