Shamanic Drumming
Shamanic drumming is an ancient ceremonial practice used to shift awareness, restore balance, and open pathways between the seen and unseen worlds. The steady rhythm of the drum acts as a heartbeat echoing the pulse of the Earth and inviting the nervous system to soften, regulate, and listen more deeply. As the drum carries you, the mind begins to quiet and a gentle trance state may arise. This is called "riding the drum". In this space, intuition awakens, visions or insights may emerge, and communication with helping spirits, ancestors, and inner guidance becomes more accessible. Each journey is unique, some experience vivid imagery, others feel emotional release, deep peace, or a sense of remembrance and belonging. Shamanic drumming supports healing on physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual levels. It can help release stored trauma, restore fragmented parts of the self, clear stagnant energy, and reconnect you to your own innate wisdom. You are not required to “do” anything—simply lie back, breathe, and allow the drum to guide you where you need to go. This is a sacred practice of remembering: your rhythm, your connection, your medicine. Please come a little early to get settled. Please bring a dish to share, altar or altar items if you feel called, a drum if you have one or would like to participate in drumming, and most of all yourself and an open heart. Monetary love offerings are greatly appreciated and go towards the care and maintenance of our sacred spaces however not necessary. We are no pay to pray.
