Shadowdark: The Gloaming Campaign Session 4

* We will have an intermission where we break for some food What: Join the adventures of a band of treasure hunters as they explore The Gloaming, an ancient forest where black trees tower over mossy standing stones and mist-addled bogs. Here, fragile bastions of mankind cluster behind torchlit palisades and pray for deliverance from the demons that hatch from the forest's cursed Marrow Trees. The Knights of St. Ydris range out from their deepwood conclave to wage a losing war against these demons and their servants. The campaign will be a mix of hex crawl and dungeon crawl with additional outside content. New players welcome! Session 1 will have the players start in the gloaming in Marin's hold. Level your character to 1. * Frequency: Every other weekend (Sat or Sun depending on schedule) * Cost: No Cost * Gameplay: Shadowdark is a modern reimagining of old school DND play. Shadowdark focuses on faster gameplay, dungeon crawls, tension in the dark, and modern hero builds. * Who am I: DM Andrew. 48 years old software engineer, been playing TTRPGs most of my life. Recently have DM'd a bunch of 5e online and wanted to get back to real life games. * Ages: 18+ please. * Content Warning: Darkness, Horror, small spaces * What to bring: Standard gaming dice, pencil. I will bring extra dice sets and extra pencils.
