In this sewing class, we will piece together cheerful fall colors and playful pumpkin details to create a table runner that is perfect for Halloween gatherings, fall decorating, or simply adding a little seasonal mischief to your dining table. Whether your pumpkins are cute, spooky, or somewhere in between, this project is sure to make your table the pick of the patch! 👻🎃 Did you catch the joke, I am laughing. Class Duration: 2 hours and 4 Parts. Age Requirements: Adult Recommended Prerequisite: Sewing - Introduction to the Sewing Machine Required Skills: Someone who is comfortable with working and threading sewing machines, sewing patterns with markings and notations, has an understanding of fabric types and interfacing, and has experience with using a variety of tools, notions, and presser feet. Materials Fee: None Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees) Materials: Students bring the following materials to complete the project: Bring 3 fall prints, approximately 1 yard each. Level Description Beginner Someone has used a sewing machine before but may need aid on threading the machine and may need additional practice keeping an even seam allowance. Confident Beginner Someone who can sew straight and curved seams while keeping a consistent seam allowance, can thread a standard machine and wind a bobbin, has a basic understanding of different fabric types and has completed several projects. Intermediate Someone who is comfortable with working and threading sewing machines, sewing patterns with markings and notations, has an understanding of fabric types and interfacing, and has experience with using a variety of tools, notions, and presser feet.
