Sew on the Go! Handheld Sewing Machine Workshop

In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn how to set up and operate a portable handheld sewing machine, practice basic stitching techniques, and complete a simple pillow to take home. This workshop is designed as a fun introduction to sewing without the intimidation of a traditional sewing machine. What Students Will Learn: How to thread and prepare the handheld sewing machine How to properly hold and guide the machine Starting, stopping and controlling stitches How to keep a straight seam and secure stitches so they don’t unravel Sew and complete the pillow Review finished project Provide other small project that can be done with handheld machine
