Explore every inch of MadJax with open studios, maker demonstrations, hands-on activities, guided tours, and opportunities to meet the artists, entrepreneurs, makers, and organizations that call MadJax home. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, you'll discover something new. Come see what's being made, who's making it, and how you can become part of the MadJax community. Ever wondered what's inside MadJax? Join us on Thursday, September 3, from 5:00–8:00 pm for a building-wide open house during First Thursday. Explore every inch of MadJax with open studios, maker demonstrations, hands-on activities, guided tours, local vendors, and opportunities to meet the artists, entrepreneurs, makers, nonprofits, and professionals who make this building such a unique part of downtown Muncie. Here’s what you can expect: open studios and maker demonstrations: Meet MadJax makers, entrepreneurs, and businesses and see what they’re working on EXPLORE MADJAX: Wander the building, peek inside spaces you may have never seen, and discover what’s happening throughout MadJax Building TourS: Take a guided tour and learn more about the spaces, people, and opportunities inside MadJax TOOLSONG Gallery by artist Ellen Leigh LIve music with foxxy in the courtyard free demonstrations: with aerial annex’s bungee fitness and aerial silks classes Sample and shop locally made sauce from johntom’s barbecue Boohts from community organizations that regularly use madjax: Muncie Arts & Culture Council, Muncie Queer Alliance, BSU Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute, Rooted & Rising, Muncie Astronomy Club, Muncie Public Library, and Muncie Camera Club.
