September 11th Remembrance Ceremony The community is invited to join for a ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The remembrance ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. at Eastside Fire & Rescue Station 73 in the Issaquah Highlands. Music from the Seattle Pipes and Drums will be followed by an Honor Guard ceremony. Eastside Fire & Rescue Chief Will Aho, Issaquah Police Chief Stephen L. Mylett, Issaquah Mayor Mark Mullet, and U.S. Representative Kim Schrier will offer remarks reflecting on the lives lost, the service and sacrifice of first responders, and the enduring impact of September 11 on our country. A section of concrete from the World Trade Center will be displayed during the ceremony as a physical reminder of the tragedy and those we continue to remember. The ceremony will conclude with a moment of silence for the fallen.
