Annie started performing her original music live at age thirteen, cultivating her skills into a unique indie alternative style. Her writing is inspired by her experiences growing up queer in rural America, creating universally relatable stories through deeply personal lyricism and ear catching melodies. Gigi Marie FFO: The White Stripes, L7, Hole, PJ Harver, Die Spitz, and The Arctic Monkeys Gigi Marie is DC’s favorite rock ’n’ roll redhead, blending punchy garage grit with a flash of punkette glam. Having recorded at Inner Ear Studio with Don Zientara, she fully taps into the city’s punk legacy—then flips it with a sharp, modern edge. Her sound feels like lipstick on a cigarette: messy, bold, and impossible to ignore, built for sweaty shows and late-night chaos. Wandering Bird FFO: Fleetwood Mac, The Barr Brothers, REM, Smashing Pumpkins Wandering Bird is a solid rock band from DC. They love playing music and moving around a lot on stage.
