About this event
Offsite at the Hands On Children's Museum (414 Jefferson St NE, Olympia, WA 98501). Stories, music, movement, and play in a neurodiversity-affirming setting for children of any age and their caregivers. This program is intended to support children and families who may have challenges accessing other library services and storytime programs. Registration is appreciated- it helps us to know who all is planning on coming, and allows us to contact you with reminders and important updates. When you register, it will automatically enroll you for the rest of the dates in this series. You don't need to be able to make it every week in order to attend, though! This series runs weekly from November 13 through December 18, and will focus on managing big feelings. The next series will begin on January 15. These storytimes all take place at the Hands On Children's Museum. The address is: 414 Jefferson St NE, Olympia, WA 98501. We meet in Snug Harbor, a classroom located on the second floor of the museum, reachable by stairs or elevator. Thanks to the generosity of Hands on Children's Museum, families can attend Sensory-inclusive Storytime and while there, experience the rest of the museum's attractions free of charge! When you arrive, check in at the ticket counter and let them know you are there for sensory storytime, and they will direct you to the room. And though membership is not required to attend these storytimes, we encourage you to explore their membership options, so that you can enjoy the museum anytime!
