About this event
Welcome to the world of Shynta (pronounced Shy-inta), a richly imagined homebrew setting spanning three vast continents, scattered islands, and seas of endless sand. This mini-campaign invites players to explore one corner of this evolving world while helping shape its lore, politics, and future through collaborative storytelling. This adventure takes place on the continent of Thumatra during one of the most pivotal moments in its political cycle: the Volc-Beetle Migration. This rare event signals a transfer of power within Thumatra’s internal government, determining which clan will claim the throne and castle in the capital city of Mantel. Thumatran society is built upon three cultural pillars: Strength, Wealth, and Craftsmanship. During the migration, clans recruit champions and loyal members to represent their banner in a high-stakes race across the land. Their goal: recover the largest molten or crystalline fragments left behind in previous Volc-Beetle nests and transport them safely to Mantel for judgment. But raw materials alone are not enough. Each clan must sculpt its prize into something worthy of admiration while navigating sabotage from rival factions, protecting their own work, and deciding just how far they’re willing to go for victory. For some clans, wealth makes any obstacle surmountable. Others compete for prestige, publicity, or the thrill of the challenge itself. A select few enter the race with ambitions far greater than glory—hoping to reshape the future of Thumatra’s government. Where will your party align in this chaotic race to Mantel, and what legacy will your clan leave behind?
