Pepsy M. Kettavong is a prominent Laotian American sculptor, artist, and entrepreneur based in Rochester, New York. Born in Laos in 1972, Kettavong and his family fled the country’s Communist regime in 1980. Kettavong is most widely recognized for creating influential public art installations that celebrate prominent figures of American civil rights and local history. A most notable example of this is Let’s Have Tea, his bronze sculpture of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass, installed in 2001 at the Susan B. Anthony Square Park.
