A Patagonia film about the Fight for America’s Public Lands, from Executive Producers Robert Redford & Yvon Chouinard. (1 hr 38 min, 2020) Although the film was released in 2020, its message is as timely today as ever. The questions it raises about conservation, stewardship, and the future of America’s public lands have only become more urgent. Following the screening, Vanessa Trujillo, Ph.D., Senior Conservation Program Manager with the National Parks Conservation Association, will discuss the current challenges and opportunities facing our national parks and public lands. Jimmy Orth, Executive Director of St. Johns Riverkeeper, will bring the conversation closer to home, exploring the importance of protecting Northeast Florida’s public lands and waterways.
