Taking Back Tacos returns to Kick Butt Coffee on Saturday, October 24 for Screamo de los Muertos, their 2nd Annual Pre-Halloween Party! Taking Back Tacos is Austin’s pop-punk/emo party cover band, formed in 2025 and built around the songs that lived on your MySpace page—early-2000s pop-punk and emo anthems made for loud crowd singalongs. Joining them for a night of throwbacks and tribute sets: TAKING BACK TACOS — Austin pop-punk & emo party cover band ANOTHER SCORCHER — Tribute to Weezer AUSTIN FOUND — Ska cover band And since it's almost Halloween, COME IN COSTUME! COSTUME CONTEST $50 CASH PRIZE Break out the costumes, bring your friends, and get ready for a night of pop-punk, emo, Weezer and ska.
