Eric Rasmussen – Director, Michael Rodriguez – Trumpet/Compositions The SCC Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Eric Rasmussen, is one of the premier big bands in the southwest. In collaboration with The Nash twice per year, past guest artists have included multiple Grammy nominees, MacArthur and Guggenheim fellows. For this concert we are excited to present GRAMMY® Award winningTrumpeter/composer, Michael Rodriguez. Michael is currently on the faculty at NYU and Juilliard and travels the globe as a clinician. 1/2 price Student tickets are available in the Tables & Banquettes sections.
