Monarch Tagging at Scissortail Park Join Scissortail Park for a special opportunity to get up close with one of North America's most iconic butterflies! During our Monarch Tagging event, participants can learn about monarch migration and help contribute to important monarch research and conservation efforts. LOCATION & COST Participants will meet at the Scissortail Boathouse, located at 650 S. Hudson Ave., just across from Social Capital. This is a come-and-go event, so you are welcome to stop by, participate, and leave when it works for you. PRICING Park Members: $5 per person Non-Members: $7 per person Children 3 & under: FREE WHAT TO BRING? Monarch tagging takes place outdoors, so please come prepared for the weather. We recommend bringing: Comfortable, breathable clothing Close-toed shoes Sunscreen A water bottle Weather Policy: Monarch tagging is dependent on suitable weather conditions.
