Let's get together for a wine-inspired movie night and watch a true cult movie, accompanied by synced wine tasting! **Bottle Shock (2008**) is an American comedy-drama film based on the Judgment of Paris events - a famous 1976 wine competition where California wines defeated top French counterparts in a blind tasting, putting Napa Valley on the global map. **Plot:** Sommelier and wine shop owner Steven Spurrier, a British expat living in Paris travels to the not-yet-famous Napa Valley in search of contestants for his Judgement of Paris blind tasting event. **Watch the trailer:** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO_5bk-eA78 **How the synced tasting works** The wines are inspired by the Great Judgment of Paris events: expect to taste Napa Valley Chardonnay (Chateau Montelena), white Burgundy, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and more.
