Save Live Music at The Hangar

About this event

SIGN THE PETITION We’ll keep this short and sweet. We have some neighbors that don’t like what we’re doing. Which, well, we don’t agree with. the concert series and live music under the trees have brought something incredibly special to our community, our business and have brought me a level of FULFILLMENT I didn’t imagine I would get from this space. what we have cannot be replicated, anywhere. i’m not sure at what level of risk we truly face to have this potentially put on the chopping block, so let’s overwhelm the city with POSITIVITY and show them how many people truly appreciate and support what we have going here. Let’s be clear, this isn’t a “fuck the neighbors” campaign. But a measured approach to keep this going and make sure that people understand the benefits of live music, in tahoe, in this setting; from community building to mental health in an incredibly DIVISIVE and TUMULTUOUS time in our lives and country. Come speak on 11.17.2026. If you can’t do that send the folks at the city a comment on how this has positively impacted you, your friends and the community. send notes to : PUBLICCOMMENT@CITYOFSLT.US & citycouncil@cityofslt.us For those who think it’s just “too damn loud” attached is a document of DB readings from the summer concerts (actual photos of the meter are being uploaded and updated). As a reference, highway noise is 75db and most outdoor venues in Ca operate at a property limit reading of 90db. about 15% higher that the levels we try diligently to maintain.
