The Trailrunners are running Kit Carson Park This will be a 3.2-mile loop that maximizes the park's unpaved perimeter trails to keep things soft and safe for the pups. 📅 Date & Time: Saturday 11/7/2026 at 7am 📍 Meetup Location: Kit Carson Park Amphitheater parking lot (closest access to the dirt trailheads) 🐾 Trail Specs & Logistics Distance: \~3.2 miles Terrain: 90% Hard-packed dirt, singletrack, and woodchip paths (minimal paved crossings at footbridges) Elevation: Mostly flat, with one optional short dirt hill climb over West Hill Difficulty: Easy / Beginner-friendly trail profile Amenities: Restrooms and water stations are available near the central sports fields, but please bring enough water for your dog's specific needs.
