Legacy Day at Strataca – Free Community Event in Reno County 9 am – 3 pm | April 4 | Hutchinson, Kansas Strataca is proud to host Legacy Day, a free community celebration honoring the history, industry, families, and businesses that have shaped Reno County and Hutchinson, Kansas. On April 4, Reno County residents are invited to enjoy free underground museum gallery admission as our way of saying thank you to the community that continues to support Strataca; Kansas Underground Salt Museum and preserve our shared heritage. Event Highlights: Reno County Residents receive FREE underground admission to Strataca’s museum galleries The Easter Bunny will be visiting with children during the Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. *please bring your own Easter baskets. Local Reno County vendors Food trucks Dedicated kids’ activities with face painting, sidewalk chalk, bubbles and more Underground Tour Information: Reservations are required for underground gallery access on April 4. 📞 Call 620.662.1425 to reserve your tour time. Please note: Free admission is available to Reno County residents only. A valid Reno County ID is required at check-in. No rides will be offered on Legacy Day. Children must be 4 years of age or older to tour underground. Celebrate Our Roots in Hutchinson, Kansas Legacy Day at Strataca is more than a free museum day, it’s a celebration of our community’s foundation, the families who built it, and the salt beneath our feet.
