About this event
Large Meeting Room. Bill Virkus shares how the Coast Guard Academy and sailing on the USCGC Eagle changed his life. At the age of 20, Virkus climbed 15 stories to set and furl sails. Learn what it was like to sail on a 300-foot long tall ship (the only one in U.S. government service) with masts 150 feet high. Live in-person and virtually on Zoom. Register to receive the information to join.
