Safe Sitter Training Class

About this event

This class is designed to prepare students to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting, and recommended for 6th-12th graders. The instructor-led class will have students role-playing and using manikins to practice skills like choking rescue. Students will receive a completion card at the end of the class. Registration is free and materials are included. Students should bring a sack lunch and water. Register by calling 219-325-5563 or emailing ehawkins@laporteco.in.gov
